Normally, if there is a problem with ABS brakes, when you first start the car the ABS light will flash in the dash and you have to count how many times it flashes and then go visit the dealer and tell them the fault code(how many times it flashes). Other than that, ABS brakes are pretty simple.

i'm a tech at a gm dealership and do all the abs work the light does not flash codes at you unless you jumper the dlc when the light comes on the abs computer is setting a code which your dealership should be able to read with a scan tool next time it comes on take it by the dealership for them to scan if they tell you no problem found there bull ****ting you good luck Greg Montgomery

i have to agree with gregmontgomery, i also work at a chevy dealership. he is right, the light does not flash unless you jump the dlc. and yes, it should store a code in the computer that can be retrieved even if the light is not on when it is checked

DOH, I got back to work yesterday, and was working on a rolling total, and realized I was thinking about the air bag lite(this car got hit hard). And yes, the other 2 posta are correct, either way, you need to go see the General.
