Can anybody who has "Mr gasket" desktop dyno. I have Desktop dynos from Cartech, Inc. and Motion Software, Inc.. The timing and exact cam specs don't line up with the cam card. Here is the information for the Mr Gasket desktop dyno:I have a 383 stroker with a mild cam ( specs- intake: valve lift .468, SAE J604d duration 304 degrees, gross lift at cam .312, duration @ .050" cam lift 220 degrees, exhaust: valve lift .480, SAE J604d duration 287 degrees, gross lift at cam .320, duration @ .050" 231 degrees),holly street dominator intake, stock heads (1.94-1.50), 750 holly, headers, duals. Can anybody help? Also what would be the correct timing be using the timing mark on the dampener? Thank you.

Are you sure you are not mixing rows and columns on your cam card? Those numbers you gave are weird. Here is what kind of makes sense to me . . .
Intake: 287* advertised duration, 220* duration @ .050 lift, .468 valve lift. Exhaust: 304* advertised duration, 231* duration @ 050 lift, .480" duration. Looks like a N20 or blower cam profile to me - but without knowing the lobe separation angle or intake center line its really hard to know what you have.
The cam timing has nothing to do with your ignition timing. set your ignition timing for about 36* total and you should be close.

How do I set 36* total ignition timing? I have a pic of my cam card if you would like me to e-mail it to you. The 304* is intake, 287* is exhaust. Lobe sep is 110*. Thanks
