Codi Oct 20th, 03, 08:59 AM Sharp invented the roller rocker. When i was running a super stock car in the 70's (ancient history) thats all we used as thats all there was. They are a good product. I lean towards the comp cam pro magnum. I like the design and warranty. Not knocking Harland Sharps, as they are my 2nd choice. I never did have a problem with them. Rons68 Oct 21st, 03, 09:47 AM I have only owned one set of roller rockers which were Harland Sharps. I bought them new, and sold them after about 10K miles of use on a 350 engine. I noticed that on a few of them, the roller tips had worn grooves into the sides of the aluminum rocker bodies. I don't know if this is common with roller rockers, or if I had some other valve train problem that caused it. |
