to do the swap, you'll need a host of parts,
starting with frame mounts for a big block, motor mounts, hoses, pulleys, radiator, front springs, carb linkage, exhaust, and of course, the engine.
everything should just be a simple bolt in procedure. your tranny should handle it, but it all depends on how old it is and how many miles it has seen. there will be a lot more torque with the big block then what that 350 put out, so be careful. i'd also be careful with the rear. it may last for awhile, but depending on how much you play with the car, you may end up tearing it apart.
have fun.

67RS502 Dec 4th, 01, 08:30 AM If you run street tire you shouldnt hurt the rear. 350TH should hold up to a 11s car, if you plan on going faster - get it built or swap to a 400TH.

18436572 Dec 7th, 01, 02:34 PM All seemed well...until the mention of the 4 speed...that little 10 bolt might not like it , even with a "mild" big block....especially if You plan on running a sticky tire....I would run the 350...then change the rear before the 4 speed swap....just My opinion.......Billy
