Where can a guy find a 3" x pipe with out paying an arm and a leg for it? I think $160.00 or more is too much for what you get.

You can make one.... or have one made cheap.

I bought two peices of mandrel bent 3 inch "J bend" tubing from Summit.
I cut the end off so I had peices of %90 tubing. I layed these on the bench with the elbows facing each other. I then cut off part of the elbows ( about half way threw) and pushed the two peices together. I tac welded these up and flip them over and finished welding. I took about 15 minutes and only cost the price of the tubing. You should be able to get anyone with a welder to do it for $20.00

Any truck supply store will have 3" exhaust pipe in any number of angles or turnouts. BTW, they will sell exhaust pipe in sizes up to 6". You can also find most of it in chrome.

Summit has them for around $40. Mine from Dr. Gas @ $125./"X" only.

Go to the Summit web site and do a search for BIG-53620 or BIG-53621, for 2 1/2 and 3" X-pipes. The prices are $29.39 and $34.69. And get at least one maybe two 180 degree bends to cut at whatever angle it takes to connect it to your existing system. I just did it and it wasn't too bad. Made my 3" exhaust quieter and sweeter. Not quite as deep and raspy.
