How much more is my 1969 Z/28 worth with the protect-o-plate http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif. I was reading a Camaro restoration manual and saw one in there. My car is currently at our farm (approx. 120 miles away), so i cant be sure if what i saw when i looked through the glove box was it or not.
Thanks

If the original protect-o-plate is in the glove box and the numbers on the engine, trans and rear match it, then it could add a couple of thousand to the value. Since the P-O-P shows the codes for the original engine, trans and rear along with some power options, you'll know if it's a Z28, SS350, SS396, Atou, 4 speed, PS, PDB, etc. I hope you find it, it will make your day.

To anyone knowledgeable, likely won't add much to the value. These are being reproduced for ~ $200.
