How much does it cost to put in a interior to a first gen camaro? When i say interior i mean the whole deal. New carpeting, seats, dash, door pannels, ect... basically a whole new interior. I know that repro parts are fairly cheap but i have heard allot of hidden costs come about.

probably will run you between 400-500 dollars if you do it yourself.

4 or 500? my deluxe seat cover kit costs that alone, not including putting it all together,, lets not forget that Repro door panels are 325.00 for the set too. new seatfoams, door panels. headliner, sail panels, headliner trim, piller posts, glove box liner (everyone forgets about this) rubber stop bumper kit , rear package tray, molded carpet, sound deadning material for the molded carpet, case of killians red and some good hogring pliers. and thats not even touching the dash area, thats a whole another expense. and add more in if you need Center console items/parts, + seatbelts are a pretty penny too. and dont forget all the splash guards behind the door panels, oh , and the weatherstripping. and the Jute padding for behind the rear seat. oh and.... ahh heck , I am getting carried away, you get the point...

but in the end, it sure is nice...

around 1200-1400 bux. + misc parts and tools

I don't think he said deluxe.. for my set, which I paid around 400 for, I got headliner, dash pad, molded carpet, seat covers, package tray and pillar moldings. Basically everything you need besides headliner moldings and clips. If you need seat belts, and your seat springs are in really bad condition, then you'll probably run 200 dollars more, the dash stuff isn't too bad, consoles are pretty easy to paint and stuff. Btw, I'm looking for bucket with more neck and upper back support for my 67, does anyone know if newer firebird or camaro seats will work or what kind of mods I'll have to do?

JQ, according to classic industries catalog a complete standard interior will run $719.00 for 67, and $772 for 68. That's black with buckets. A 69 shows $799.00. These kits include seat upholstery set, front & rear. Carpet, door panels, arm rests, rear side panels, headliner, rear seat shelf, padded dash, sill plates and inner windshield pillar moldings. Having it installed will be more. Hope this helps.
Remember, deluxe will cost more, $940 to $1000.00. What year of camaro & type of interior does yours have. Your window cranks
& door handle will be different between the two.

another thing, don't forget the shipping cost, I try and order from the nearest supplier since most interior parts are made by 2 or 3 companies.
