Is there a reason you want a gear drive.

if it were up to me, i'd stay away from a gear drive setup and go with a good true roller timing chain. this has been a topic on this site several times, and if you ask me, first off, from what i hear, they rob horsepower. second, imagine what happens if the idle gear would break, or for that, any of the gears would break. eveything jambs up, and from there goes a lot of parts.
just my opinion.

I already have one, I got the noisey one. I think it's kinda loud. Looking for a better reason to change back to my double roller.

A long time ago when Grumpy Jenkins was running a small block Pro Stock car he wrote a H.P. series book about small blocks. He found that the harmonics were so bad with a gear drive that the timing was all over the place. He used plastic cam gears and changed them often. This was before there were crank triggers I would assume they would help alot but your not running one on a street car. I hope.

I have a Pete Jackson in my small-block and it sounds excellent and runs great as well. It is a hassle to put in and time, but the sound and the energy are well worth it. Match it up with a Dyno-Max or Flowmaster and it sounds even better

There are good and bad to both gear drives and timing chains. I personally prefer gear drives. I run Pete Jackson quiet (I have run the loud one before but it was a little annoying after a short time). If you set them up properly they work great and are not very noisey, if you don't set them up right then they will be loud and will want to walk around. Take the time to set it up right and you will be happy. The only possible draw back is the fact that gear drives "can" transfer crankshaft harmonics to the valve train (this still has not been proven, but in theory it does have some merit). I could see how this could happen if the mesh was too tight, but otherwise I think it is unlikely. A gear drive should last almost forever. They are very durable. Timing chains "stretch" which is actually a combination of chain and gear wear, which leads to unstable timing due to the slop. Timing chains can also break (I have been there), which is one reason I don't care for them. The good point is that it takes less power to turn a true roller timing chain. If you want the ultimate best of both worlds and your pockets are deep, go with a Jesel belt drive. They take even less power to turn and your timing will be rock solid, but belts break and the set up is very expensive. So there you have it there is no positive choice that is the best. It all depends on what is important to you. There will be varying opinions on this topic, but I think the main thing is to setup which ever one you choose properly and you will get good results.I don't believe that one is "better " than the other.

In my opinion, the best of all is the belt yeah that's right belt drive ones. They're really quiet, supposedly give you about 10 more ponies and the only downside is that they're expensive.
