I have a 850Dp holley and just bought a 950 Hp Main body to switch over too. I guess all I have to do is rebuild the carb and install the 950Hp main body. What rebuild kit would you guys reccomend? Holley, Barry Grant, or Quick Fuel? Next What jet size should I start with? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Welcome to the site.
I take it you are talking about the Pro Form main body 950?
I think that with and what you had, any of the kits will do just fine. I have used the Holley and AED kits for years and would say that the other kits are just as good.
I guess a good question now would be is, what jet size are you running currently? I would probably step them up two to three sizes and start from there.
You might however, want to do a search on the topic of the newer available main bodies and the 950 itself.

It's a genuine Holley main body. I have yet to get the 489 going. I blew up the old 396 and wasn't going to waste time with so little cubes anymore. So I really have no idea where to start with jet size etc. It also has a 30cc accelerator pump in front and a 50CC in back I was told to try 50cc in both especially with a stick? Anyone agree, disagree?

I got the Profoem main body and it came with jet -78/86, that should put you close, because the air bleeds are about the same on the holley/proform bodies.

I'd have to recommend using *only* Holley rebuild kits.

Thanks Dave. It already came with the "correct" air bleeds in it from the carb shop I bought it from. Does yours have dual 50CC accelaerator pumps or just in the back? Thanks!
