I recently purchased a 67 rs/ss.
I have removed the magnito and replaced it with a normal distributor. What color is the ignition wire that goes to the positive side of the coil?

There should be two wires that go to the Positive side of the coil, as Camaroguy says the one will be a white wire with cord like insulation, this is the resistor wire, and will supply around 9-12 volts while the engine is running. The second wire is a 20 gauge yellow wire, this wire runs to the solinoid on the starter, This wire by passes the resistor wire while the engine cranks in start mode. The solinoid must have three terminals to connect wires, the large battery terminal, the larger of the two smaller terminals for the red "crank" wire and the smallest one for the resistor bypass, This terminal is towards the outside. or passenger side of the solinoid.
