54 views and no opinion?

FWIW, I'm not the one selling I merely want to know if any COPO Camaros (Yenko type) had a Hurst dual gate.

I seem to recall something about Motion offering them but not Yenko. I may be wrong.

Anybody got an opinion on this?

Only cars I remember them in were Olds W-30's.

Only cars I remember them in were Olds W-30's.Definately on Olds and Pontiac GTO's. I had a friend who's dad bought one (GTO) new in 67 and it had a Hurst dual gate to go along with the TH400.

This guy is advertising it as Yenko option. This is what I'm curious about.

Most of the 1969 Yenko Camaro and Chevelles auto trans cars were factory built with colume shifters. Yenko installed the Hurst duel gate shifter in most of the AT 1969 Yenko Camaros and Chevelles. A few cars were left with the stock shifter.

There were a bunch of different Hurst duel gate shifters depending on the application.
Yenko used the Hurst duel gate shifter and plastic console that was designed as an aftermarket conversion to convert column shifter to floor shifter.

The aftermarket conversion shifter was also used on some of the Hurst Olds and Hemi Darts and by Motion, Harrell and other hi po dealers or performance shops. GTO, 442 Olds and other used a factory installed Hurst duel gate with factory consoles.

That one pictured in the craiglist ad does not look like it has the correct floor brackets for a Camaro and it is missing some parts. Not sure if that has the original plastic console. They are very hard to find. They were very thin and cracked easy. A repop has been out for a long time that was made with thicker plastic. That is a good deal for $155 as a complete Hurst duel gate with console is expensive.

Dick Harrell was in the late 1960's Hurst duel gate ads.

They were kind of trick, I had one in my 67 GTO convertible when I was a teenager. It impressed the girls anyway.
