Can't decide what coor top to use. Black or white. Alwys been partial to white tops. But with a bright blue car a black top might be better. Here is a pic of a car in the same color I plan to use.

With that blue I would go white top, white interior. Be aware if you go white you are forced to stay with stock style vinyl top material but if you go with black or even tan or other color you can get stay-fast material like new convertibles use.

I bet that blue would look real good with a gray stay-fast top and the right interior. Here's a page with sample colors,

I like your idea on a gray stayfast top... Interior will be black with metal surfaces painted the same body color.

Anything but white or red...:noway: I hate red and white is hard to keep clean..

White tops look great, but high maintance to keep clean. That's why I went with black.

As suggested, top color goes with interior color, but your car.
Black goes with anything. but white does look good with blue.

My vote is for a white top as well.

I really love the white tops with a blue car. I also like the newer canvas tops. May have to look and see if anyone can make a white non vinyl top. I'm still probably 6 months out from needing a top. So I have time to look for one.

You won't find a white stay-fast top. The new Camaro pace car is white with orange stripes and interior and comes with a black top because GM couldn't source the white material and would not go back to vinyl...

What year and what color of stripes? No stripes? Top needs to match stipes ofcourse. I have a white top on red. White bumble bee stripe. I think they would both look good. I have always thought back and blue look good. Not on my face though. l:) Black would get hotter is the sun.....working the wrinkes out easier? Then again my white top does not wrinkle too bad. My white top needs cleaning now and again.

I had a white top for years but this time a friend talked me into a black top. I and most people tell me they like the black top better. The white ones stain after a while and are a pain to keep clean. For what a top costs I felt the black one would look better longer. I do agree the top color should match the stripes though.

I would go with black if your interior is black and you aren't having white stripes.
