I thought I share some pictures of the new paint job. It went from Lemans blue to TCP Global, single stage urethane Hugger Orange.
My co-worker painted it for me and the pictures don't do it justice, it turned out real nice. After he takes some time to work on his car, he's going to paint the doors and then the front end parts.
While I'm waiting for him, I plan to paint the firewall again in a semi flat black.
Then after everything is back together, he's going to put on the black "Z" stripes and then wet sand the car with 2000 grit and buff it.
All factory exterior trim will be put back on.

Nice color combo. Ever since I got my KTM for some reason I've been really into the orange and black.

Bruce why not paint the firewall gloss black to match that nice gloss orange? I see you don't have your vinyl top trim moldings on yet. Do you need some? I took my vinyl top off and have black moldings. Nice car and those are some BIG A*# tires. What HP are you running?

I thought about painting the firewall gloss black and to do it right, I'd need to pull the motor so I'm just going to repaint it the semi-flat black in the area's that need it, like like the primer area's you see.

I have the vinyl top trim in the garage but thanks for the offer, I need the driverside section because it got a few dings in it but our local camaro parts dealer is helping me out with that.

As for the tires, there a set of Goodyear 32 x 14's and right now the motor is estimated at 500+ but my engine builder told me not to be afraid to use a big 300hp plate and that's fine but my goal is to only run 10.0/9.99 and stop after that. My co-worker run's mid to low 8's and I see what he has to got through to play on the weekends and I don't want that......
