89 camaro (RS 305) will not turn over. new starter, module, and igintion coil. sounds like it is right on the verge. where to next? please help.

I like manual trans for the added option for starting.
Timing, fuel system, spark, wires, slipped timing belt, valves and only a heck of allot more writing I don't have time for.
What have you tried?

Pull the plugs and see if it will turn over. Any chance a cylinder may be full of water, fuel, or oil? If you do this, it's a good idea to disconnect the coil's power feed.

If this doesn't work, either the motor is siezed somehow or you've still got an electrical problem lurking.

VATS module?

Vehicle Anti Theft System (Resistor on Key) will turn off the injectors so the engine doesn't get fuel. Usually it is not suposed to engage the starer either, but you never know.

Are you getting a fuel smell, or can you tell if fuel is getting to the cylinders?

have you tried jumping the starter? take the plugs out just in case its is full if coolant or something....if it turns the motor check your neutral saftey switch..

you should start with the basics. pull all the spark plugs out, use a fully charged battery, check all battery & termanal connections. then try cranking it.if it doesn't crank then. look else where. good luck graemlins/beers.gif
