Hi all ,, i thought you may be interested in my build up of my 383 sbc in my 69.
i have purchased a crossram style manifold and dc&o throttlebodys..and i have bought the ezi multiport retro fit harness & ecu which i am grafting together the 2 slowly.. Im a total novice when it comes to injection and electronics in general but am enjoying the learning experience.
Initially i had a few problems with the manifold as the distributor did not fit and both dizzy and manifold needed machining , as did the thermostat mounting.. and no 'step' for a thermostat to sit in/on .. so i had to figure out a way of mounting it without it falling right on through.
I had to fit a DSE wiper motor as one of the trumpets came to close to the original motor.
The manifold has a vacuum plenum inbuilt so it was a matter of drilling and fitting some lines for the MAP etc.
Theres a new 'ricks tank up the rear with teflon braid from front to back
Im close to firing it up in the next couple of days:o
