Ok, so I'm goin this week to make a purchase of body parts off of an 87 for my 85. I know (or atleast hope) that things line-up exactly the same. I'm goin to be pulling a cowl hood, the front bumper cover, and the ground effects off.

My question is, how hard will it be to do so? I'm thinking the hood shouldn't be hard at all. just detach the bolts that connect the hinge to the body. right? but what about the bumper cover and ground effects. what tools will I need? and will those fit on my 85?

Thanks Much!

It's not too hard to get the cover off. My son drives a 92 and we had the drivers fender off to replace the door. ground effects should pretty much be able to see fasteners for bumper cover there is a row of bolts at the seam between it and the fender. The hardest part of this whole process might be getting the car off the ground to get at the bolts.
