ROTM - Ride of the Month.
OK, its either brand new forum or I've been asleep. Either way no posts?
What are we in for:beers:
It just appeared along with some other partial changes last week... The mods and admin have asked about it and are waiting to hear back from our autoforums contact.

Wow... how'd I miss that? :)
We'll see if we can get it moved up a couple places so it's easier to see.

It is a new forum section.
I am actually going to look to you guys for some help. Basically we are introducing the Ride of the Month on the rest of our sites. It is currently going to be sponsored with the announcement of prizes to follow ;).
We will start it next month, possibly this month if there is interest.
If there are further questions, feel free to ask :)

So will this be site by site or all combined.....or both ?
Monthly winners go head to head for a year end winner ?

Have you looked at the list of sites they own? Let's keep it "Camaro" I don't want to park next to a 9th gen Honda at a car show, don't want to see the ROTM here up against a Honda and certainly don't want to play the "get your friends to vote for you and vote as many times as you can" games that internet marketing likes to use.

How about TC members only. ROTM could be someone who finally got a frame off restoration back on the road, or someone who solved a PITA long term problem that we've been following, or maybe just finished some major mods, or someone going thru tough times thats trying to keep the Camaro in the family. There are inspiring threads/cars that could be worthy, all for very different reasons. That feels better to me than an on-line car show where the most chrome wins ;)

I wasn't suggesting.... I was asking. don't shoot me :)
Yes, they own a lot of forums.....thats why I asked.
I'd rather see it all Camaros and in generations too....

The guidelines will be discussed with the moderators (I will take the suggestions and give them some thought when discussing them with the rest of the staff on the site).
Sorry for the delay in response,
Aidan
