I have found for sale an unrestored one owner 1968 Camaro, with a 327/275 horse engine and a 4 speed transmission. The drive train is original to the car. It has a build sheet and POP, with owner history. It has never been repainted and the paint has a lot a patina and fading. The interior is amazingly well cared for. Manual steering and brakes. It has been a Idaho/Montana car and has no visible rust. If I can purchase it, I will not restore it; I'll just keep it original and clean it up. I was wondering what you guys think a car like this might be worth. Thanks, David.

Priceless if 100% original and undisturbed.
If you buy her, make sure you post tons of photos. :)
Great find.

Thanks for the reply! The only thing I can find that has been done to the car is that at some pint in time the power brake booster was removed and the master cylinder was moved back to the firewall for manual brakes. The original brake booster is in the trunk. It has an after market stereo hanging under the dash but original AM still in dash. Drives nice with no squeaks or rattles. 75,600 miles showing on odometer. A real time machine.

Very nice. If it were I in your position I would buy her and restore the power brakes and call it a day. I might remove the aftermarket radio if it didn't damage the dash doing so more then the installation did in the first place.

I love these one owner - all intact - bill of sale, POP in the glovebox - time capsule cars and here in New England well lets just say between the winter road salt, aging population and destruction of too many barns to hide them in, they are all too rare these days.

I bought the same 68 RS last spring, but a RS, Deluxe Houndstooth Interior, Rear Fold Down, Tic Toc Clock, Gauge package and Matching # 275HP motor, POP...

How is the body?

I would say about 7-9K

If it is an all-original L30/M20 car then it is quite rare. Rich Fields would probably like to have all the numbers from the car for his database.

Congrats on the buy to both of you. Pictures?
Nothing wrong with an original.

My guess is it's a 15-18k value. It has paper work and history and those don't show up that often.Cars are worth much less on the west coast for some strange reason and it appears around Hartford, CT as well!! Consider yourself lucky when you find'em this way! Good luck and please post some pictures!!

Yes I'm dead serious, there are no pics of this car, rust, Needs to be restored?

I have 2 of them and sold my 68 RS L30 matching Number 327/275 with POP, Title, Deluxe Hoondtooth Interior, Tic Toc Clock, Gauge Package, Rear Fold Down for 8500.00 which was loaded with a lot more options compared to the above.

I would say that I'm in tune to the Camaro market and vairies around the US....so why the comments?

Get some pics....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was the one you sold for 8500.00 orig paint ? Was it a 4 speed ? The car he is talking about sounds like it does not need restoring. These type of cars are getting very hard to find. I have no problem with the 15-18K estimate. Get it bought and do not restore it. I think I would even leave the aftermarket stereo. Please get pics.

Not sure about the build sheet but IMO 12-15K depending on how clean it really is. Orig. shocks, headlites, plug wires etc. Survivors are cool! Keep it that way!

well in the midwest those cars bring tall money!!! i bought a plane jane 68 with numbers matching 327 and an m20 4 speed (car was originaly power glide) and 10 bolt 3:08 posi. Got a copy of the title when the original owner sold it to the lady i bought it from had 71,300, now has 74,500 and the old lady i bought it from said she had not driven it since 86. Car was originaly corvette bronze repainted hugger orange in 84, has all original sheet metal. They wanted 12,500 and i paid 9400. now mine is not nearly as original as the op`s car sounds so i would guess 12-15g is fair anything less is a steal!!
pic of mine when i got it

Price depends on who is buying it right? Personally I could see paying 13-17k depending on condition. I am sure there are others who would pay upwards of 20k no problem.
