But get on it just a little and bam..I have Been stopped 3 times... That gets old...I mean I love the way it sounds.... But get on it just a little and it's a real attention getter.... John.. I have a crossover now but have been told that an x pipe would mellow it... But really wanted to see if someone knew of a different muffler.. I know they have a 50 series ...Just Not sure if it will bolt in without having to cut the system up?? The sad part is that many, many more motorcycles are way louder than these systems when wide open. Call flowmaster and they should be able to give you the infomation. Was hoping flowman would be here...to give me some recommendations... Hector – Which kit do you have? #17129 has the Super 44’s and #17201 has the Super 40’s. The 50 Series muffler would quiet down your Camaro, but muffler case is very big and probably won’t fit in the same spot. A 40 Series Delta Flow muffler will have the same size case and will be quieter. The decrease in volume will depend on which muffler you currently have installed. Here’s a chart showing the different levels of volume of the Flowmaster mufflers.
