I'll be there (http://www.bandimere.com/events/day_detail.php?dayID=369&dTargetDate=07/01/2011) on Friday. It will be my first as I have never been to a (legal) drag race event. Hooking up with some friends that have made this event part of their ritual for the last few years. They all want me to bring the Camaro as we'll be tailgating in the parking lot starting late morning. Weatherman says, dry and hot. We could hit 100+. Driving that thing in 100+ is like sitting in a sauna. :) Your feet start to burn after 20 mins and that's with the "455 Air" in the ON position and the motor temp at 180. Still on the fence about this idea as the truck would be so much easier, cooler and less worrisome. I am bringing some brats from my favorite German brat haus to throw on the grill, Stop by... (Black 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew cab or the red camaro.)

Did I mention beer?

In that kind of heat take the truck and enjoy the day:beers: I live on the ocean in NH and last night, 85 degrees, i took a ride in the 69 with my 12 yr. old daughter through the boardwalk. She couldn't keep her feet on the floor boards because her feet where burning and the transmission tunnel was getting toasty too, and that was coming through the dynamat.
