: can I use a Trailblazer SS intake?

Hey everyone. I am piecing together a gen 3 small block (5.3 liter) for my 67 rs. I came across an intake from a 2006 Trailblazer SS (LS2?) With fuel rails, injectors, and throttle body for $100. My questions are: will this intake fit under the hood? And is this a good price? I have truck accessories, so I'm thinking this intake would not interfere. I'm not trying to get crazy horsepower, and I'm trying to do this on a reasonable budget, so not looking to buy a bunch of high $ aftermarket goodies. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

IF the TB intake is same basic size as normal truck intake, its will be a tough fit under the hood. Not sure what year ecm you have, but the SS intake is drive-by-wire. You'll need the pedal assembly & DBW ecm. Sounds like a good price for complete intake/TB setup.

Great point about the drive by wire. I don't have an ECM yet. I would prefer to not change pedals out. Is there a drive by cable or rod option? As you can tell, I haven't done much research yet. I assume it's similar to other truck intakes because I read they have the larger diameter throttle body like other truck intakes. Seemed like a good price, so I thought I'd ask even tho I haven't done much research yet. Thanks again.
