What causes the blue bars (rather than the normal red) in threads like the one below?

Well nobody at Autoforums is owning up to it! It started before all the other forum changes. I like it and would like to see all the forums get the same colors.

I've seem to have noticed that same pattern.

You guys are right the blue does show up in all the forums under the "Generations" group. The change was reported the same day the ROTM forum was created. You'll also notice the the TC logo is missing on the forum pages with the blue as well. The moderators and I are still working on getting the logo fixed and the color made the same across all forums.

We don't have access to make changes like this so please be patient, all we can do is keep bringing the issue back up with the powers that be and hope for the best!

I have always thought it was to advise us the thread was in another years/generation forum - at least that's the way I've always used it :p
I just read the left column of the subject and then click to see what's being posted and if I can/should/want to add something ... :yes:
If I click on the thread and those 'blue bars' show up I immediately know I'm in a a later years forum and can answer accourdingly ... :cool:
If they don't I just ramble along as if it's a 1st gen ...:disco:

IF you're gonna change the bars in the 1st gen forums at least use another color - we can argue about what that should be in another thread/poll :D

I think its the default theme colors fo VBulletin

John you have read into it what you have wanted to which is fine but if you go back to the main page index you will see there are lots of forums not specific to 1st gens that don't use the blue color. Now that Bill mentions it I think he is right and the "Generations" forums got reset back to default, that's why the TC logo is missing too! The ROTM got set back to the red recently it was blue until very recently...

We just got told Aidan is leaving to study Medicine and we have a new Administrator. We will have to see what happens from here!
