Ive checked everything i can think of. I replaced the flasher and checked the fuses. All is good. The hazard lights work. Any ideas?

Bad turn signal switch?

OK, where is the circuit board and how do i check the turn signal switch to see if it is bad? Sorry about all these seemingly easy questions but i am not used to troubleshooting this stuff, im an engine man. This is my first "old" car so bear with me. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, turn signals and hazards work off of separate flash regulators(my word for those barrel shaped silver guys about the diameter of a quarter). turn your hazards on and find that one under the dash--it will tick. Then look for the other--it should be the turn signal--I believe it's located on the fuse panel and the hazard is on the inside of the bottom lip of the dash near you right knee next the ash tray. If the turn signal doesn't click or make any other noise, try buying another blinker-ma-bob at a parts store--new models have a faster blink which I prefer. It's cheap but it may not be your problem. Check all wiring.

For sure check the flasher(s).I would go to the store and buy a new t signal switch,and try it out,without installing it in the column.You might need an adapter to adapt it to the semi circular,wiring to straight.Try the dealer,the last one I bought(67 truck,1 month ago) was 20ish dollars+ the adapter.I dont know exactly how to test the switch>

I have had similar problems with my '68 Camaro. I found that it was a ground problem. I ran a small piece of wire from the sockets to a good ground and this fixed the problem. If you still have the original wiring harness in the car, I would check into this. Good luck!!!

Don't forget to check and even change the fuse. however , with my luck it would be the switch in the steering wheel column, just my 2 cents.
