my engine makes a noise that sounds alot like when i blew a header gasket but I checked my header gaskets and they are fine the noise almost sounds like its coming from the middle of the engine and it gets faster as I rev the engine. it happened when I was racing a friend. I have a 355 chevy with 11.1 compression with a roller cam.

did u lose any power??? I had somthing similar happen and it was that i cracked a rocker arm and spit out a lifter. pull ur valve cover and check.

Yea it was the rocker arm I found one that was all loose. Thanks for the help
