I just replaced a power steering pump on my 69 Camaro 350 and it is leaking. There is what looks like a plug on the engine side of the resevior just above the power steering line fitting. This seems to be the origin of the leak. Don't know why that plug is there and am wondering if it should be removed and something else installed?

You'll need to put a short 3/8 bolt with washer in it. The hole is most likely blind but the bolt will pull the sheetmetal reservoir case against the iron pump body.
