I have a '89 Z28, TPI 5.7 liter.
Both cooling fans will not come on no matter how high the temp or if the A/C is on or not. I've replaced the coolant fan relay (and a few others while trying to find the right one) and the coolant temperature sensor--no help. The fans work--I connected them straight to the battery as a test. Is it possible the Electronic Control Module is malfunctioning causing this? Or just a short or open somewhere? If that is the case shouldn't I get a Check Engine light indication?

You said you replaced the coolant temp sensor, but does your vehicle have a sensor SWITCH?
My Buick did the same thing. Replaced the fan relay, didn't fix it. Tested the coolant temp sensor, tested good. Then, I realized there is also a switch that looks just like the temp sensor, that will energize the fan relay. Swapped that out, and it's been working great. Your Camaro may be the same way.

Thanks that did help actually. I found and tried changing out that switch today, but it's in a real bad location--not much room at all to get to it. I'll figure something out.

Im not sure that that would take car of your problem or not. It doesnt sound like it if the AC doesnt turn it on as well. Did you check the fuse. Its a 20 Amp. also there is a fusable link in the circut that if blown probably would break the circut. Looking at youre scematic it could be the ECM but probably not, it would be unusual for you just to lose that on it and nothing else. hope that helps you out.
