I have seen some on Chevy trucks. The trucks had a great system where they put a nice decal in the glove box showing option number and discription

option number 9621C for Hand Throttle Unit (COPO Option)

it shows option number "SPC" for special paint

Kind of neat. Yes, seen the trucks have listing as shown.
Makes it very easy to identify how it was built.
