I purchased a Moroso Alt bracket for SBC rt side mount for short pump however, the alt pulley now sits approx 1.5" foward, moroso suggests using their wtr pump pulley and crank, the wtr pulley is 7.75" and crank is 5.5 30% reduction. I don't want higher idle temps but I need to align the belts, the pulleys I have now are approx, 6" on the pump and 6.5 on the crank. The wtr pulley is critical due the offset, other option is going to long pump, but the short I have is brand new and correct for my year. Any suggestions?
