I plan on dipping my body also. I never heard of an epoxy bath. Could you provide details?

C Shay, There are a few places, one of them called Redi-Strip. I think they are still in business. I bet you could find them with an online search.

I just got my 69 Z/28 back from Redi-Strip in Evansville, IN. It turned out pretty good and I think it was a good value ($1400). I believe the last part of the process is a bath in some sort of solution that prevents flash rusting, although I don't think it's epoxy based. The dipping does a good job of removing everything. Thats where I have a problem with it. You can't get to all of those places to seal it up without submurging it (like ragtopman said). We did a truck at work that was dipped and it came back looking great, but the same issue did we get everything coated? (We hope so). The one we did came back with a coating on it like mwh said, but it was just a soap film coating they sprayed on, it had to be removed with water. I have also seen where some acids have found there way back out from nuks and crannies and stained a new paint job.
So if you do it do all you can to neutralize and protect it (water neutralizes most metal etches). just my $.05 worth.
