Has anyone ever received a refund on these RS transmissons after cancelling an order? I am having a problem with this and cannot get any satisfaction.

I'm disappointed in hearing that. They always got back to me. Did you try asking for Keith

Keith is the one guy I have not reached out to. Some guy in accounting promised my refund in 2 - 3 weeks. That was in November. I can't believe I have to go through this hassle to get my money that they have had since January of 2011.

That's just not right. Be persistent. I know you shouldn't have to.

I had to cancel an order for an RS-500 due to the delay. They were fairly prompt and had my refund to me within a couple of weeks of when I sent my email to them.

A couple of weeks isn't reasonable either. They sell you a product, take a deposit or payment in full and never produce. Refund should be immediate, they wouldn't allow you to pay them later for there product. I know where I am not going in the spring for my tranny.

Theres allot of info about there prolong TKO RS 600... Ive had an experience with there (no response) from Keisler, but I'm not gonna bash and thats one reason why i went with Liberty and purchased everything outside of Keisler.

All i can say is Liberty Gears had my upgraded TKO 600 at my door in 3-weeks... Good luck.. Thats just not good for business.

If you send them a trany that was purchased from another vendor and are only wanting the upgrades, then that may take longer....

I still have mine in the box and hopping to install it in February. http://www.libertysgears.com/

I purchased my TKO two years ago hassle free. I think this new rs series got them over there head. Liberty did do my upgrades:thumbsup:

In most instances when this occurs, accounting dept. is witholding the return of your investment to support insufficient cash flow. If that's not the case, then comes down to disorganization and/or inefficient communication which obviously translates into poor customer service. Hope they do the right thing and get it back to you soon. In meantime, consider a 6spd instead and chalk this delay/nuiscance up as a blessing in disguise.

Since they don't call or answer my e:mails, I assume they are short on cash. Grrr.

This is indead poor business practice and will in the end effect the business they recieve from TC members! it would appear that many are going to Liberty because of this already and will continue to do so based on their handling of their customers. This should have been handled swiftly considering they advertise here and want our business! It will sadly cost them in the long run. Disipointing but maybe....just maybe they will do the correct thing and refund you ASAP! This type of business practice is unacceptable especially after all the talk of servicing members.

I'm very shock that nobody from Keisler had chimed in and made any comments to this claim....

Are they even in business anymore, because before i ordered from Liberty i gave Keisler the benefit of the doubt to purchase a complete TKO600 kit and PM some of the Keisler Moderator with no response, plus called and ask for a quot which they never called back.

Not good business Skip. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones before things changed. I still have a warranty with them, I think:sad:

I am also quite surprised that they have not chimed in here.... I guess they don't care much about their reputation. This is very poor business practice and they will not be around long if this continues.

After reading some of the press on here about the RS series' problems and delays, I ordered my TKO600 from Hurst. It arrived quickly and their customer service was very good.

Bob, was your deposit or payment for the RS by credit card? I've had great success with my card company jumping in when there is a dispute. You paid for something you never received. They can usually help quickly.

This is disappointing because I have purchased a TKO -500 a few years back and last year a TKO -600 with upgrades from Keisler with no issues of any kind.

Good to hear! Dissapointing indeed that there was no follow up or reply by" KEISLER" and you had to go this route! A lesson that will ultimatley cost them on these forums as it should!

Passed on Keisler because of this thread and others all over the forums. Talked to HURST and American Powertrain. Went with AP on a TKO600 and had my kit in about a week. It was just what they promised and they took a tech call at 8pm on a Saturday. Unheard of!!! No reason to play transmission roulette with Keisler when there are so many excellent alternatives.

WOW. I am so glad I got a TKO 600 from Hurst instead of buying the RS from Keisler. For what its worth I have been very happy with the support from Hurst.

Guys, we haven't been on here much recently as we've been incredibly busy attending to production. For anyone on here having refund issues, please e-mail me: chris@keislerauto.com and I will see what is going on and get you taken care of. As for the delays and production issues, I can understand the angst, it is equally frustrating for us internally. We shipped 400+ RS units last year, and are working as fast as possible to address all delays and lead-time issues. As with any small company, everyone here wears multiple hats, which makes it difficult to get time to check the forums, but we will do better. Thanks again.
