I have a 68 camaro that I would like to swap a late model vette motor into. The car is currently a fast burn 385 crate motor and 700r4 with 2000 miles on rebuild. I just would like to go in a different direction. I am at the point in my life that I would like it done right by somebody smarter than me. Who is the best swap shop in the southeast US?
My other option is putting about $10k with my camaro and trading for a 06 or so zo6. Mine is probably worth $25k and late model vette prices are in the tank too.

can't help you with the shop question since i dont live in your area but i was struggling with the same decision and someone made a great comment to me that made up my mind....in 10 years you can have a classic yet modern camaro or you can have a 15 year old corvette.....keep the camaro

If I was doing this, I'd pick up a new subframe, build everything off of the car, and then just roll your old one out and the new one under it.
