I am running 195-200 cruising and 210 at the drive thru, sitting idling after a drive. I replaced the old 180 thermostat with a new 180 and did nothing, it made it worse, it goes to 220 pops open then goes to 190 then creeps to 195/200 cruising... replaced the radiator 8 months ago (3 core) stock 4 blade fan (not clutch fan)
My water pump bearing is worn out also which do you recommend for replacement? high volume cast iron weiand action plus or something?
or try water wetter?

replace your waterpump, use a 160 thermostat .your car should only run around 160-180 , you can go 195 with a 7 or 8PSI radiator cap, but I wouldnt recommend that with summertime coming up. you mentioned a 4 blade fan, but you didnt mention a fan shroud. you may want to consider when replacing the waterpump to ditch the ol fan and put a electric one on with a temperature controlled sending unit, you can get them in lower temps so that when it his a certain degree the fan kicks in . (might also give you a few more HP because your not spinning that bog ol fan too) and also the electric fan can cool it down alot faster because it spins at 6000rpm.
good luck!

Should I get a high flow pump or just stock replacement water pump?

Make shure your temp gage is correct.
FYI
An aluminum short water pump is two pounds lighter than a cast iron one. (67/68 type short. Not worth spending a lot of money for.
Water wetter is a surfactant. It lowerers the surface tension of the coolant allowing better contact with the metal surfaces inside the engine. It will also make it easier for the water to LEAK OUT if things are not 100%.
Don't run over 40% antifreeze. Nothing cools as well as good ol water. Antifreeze will raise the boiling point and protect from corrosion, but not cool better.
A leaking water pump seal will allow air to be sucked into the coolant and reduce cooling. There is suction where the seal lives when the pump is turning fast.
