I am contemplating upgrading my EFI to multi port. I have a 454 with Procharger D1-SC . So it needs to handle about 550 or more HP. I want something I can bolt on and self tune. Optional laptop tuning.

cut and paste from my post at Lateral-G. Maybe Edelbrock has something newer, but their older stuff wouldn't run a blown motor. Fast, the new Holley system, Accel, etc. can all handle your combo easily.

By self-tune, do you mean you can tune it yourself, or it will tune itself? You will want laptop tuning for sure, don't make it be optional.

I do not know of a self-tuning system for a blown motor. The FAST XFI has some of the self-tuning capabilities of the FAST EZ EFI but the self tuning part doesn't work as well from what I've been told. The EZ EFI isn't for blown engines.

The good thing is the XFI, Accel, etc. have wideband O2 and can go closed loop at WOT, so if your A/F tables are set correctly and the fuel map is close enough they will add or subtract fuel to try to reach your desired A/F. But you still have to do some tuning to get there.

My current system self tunes but it is at its upper limit. I am not sure I have the know how to do the tuning. I don't know anybody in the denver area that could tune it.

Have you looked at the new Atomic system by MSD? No return line required, so they state.
