The sail panel lights on my 67 SS won't turn off. The funny thing is that they worked fine before I installed my interior (carpet, seats, door panels, kick panels, etc..) What do you guys think it could be? Where should I start to look to fix this problem? Thank you.

i dont know if you have checked or not but i would think a fuse is blown. i had the same problem in my k5 blazer. when the door was closed the lights under the dash were on and when the door was open the under dash lights were off but the dome light was on. checked all of the fuses and there was one blown.

You may have run a screw through the return wire from the lights, grounding it. They run through the door sills, I think the driver's side.
