I have a problem that is really kicking my butt. I have a 68 conv. that I put a 396 big block in. From the casting numbers I found out the motor is a 69. The 68 steering bracket put the pully on a different angle then the other pullys. I ordered a bracket set from Classic Industries that said it was for a 69, this came with three pieces and no instructions. The pullys I now have are for a big block and bottom and top pullys line up great, its just the power steering that doesn't. Can anyone out there help me?? If you can, thank you thank you thank you

sorry i'm not going to be any help, but i did want to say this: IF A SUPPLIER IS LISTENING, IF YOU WOULD SEND SOME INSTRUCTIONS WITH YOUR PRODUCTS OR AT LEAST MAYBE A PAGE FROM A SHOP MANUAL, I THINK YOUR BUSINESS WOULD INCREASE 1000%. i have run across similar problems and you get the part and just have no ideal how it should be installed.

I replaced my small block with a big block and had a similar problem. The key is to make sure that you have either all of the 69 brackets and pulleys or all of the 68 brackets and pulleys. The 1969 big blocks have the long water pump, the 1968's have the short style. Make sure you know which water pump you have and your absolutely sure which year pulleys you have. Unfortunately, I don't know how to tell the pulleys apart. I had to bite the bullet and buy new power steering brackets and a new water pump pulley. After they were installed, everything lined up.
