Car only has 66,000 miles but the Service Engine light comes on quite a bit. In addition, don't know if they are related, every once in a while the engine will just quit. Usually at a traffic light and when you crank it back up you have to keep the gas pedal down a little to keep it from stalling again. Happens when going slow or stopped. Just idles down and shuts off. Does not do it all the time but just sometimes. Please help if you can. Thanks

Have you checked the service codes that are causing the check engine light to come on? You can do this very easily. Find the ALDL connector (located below the steering column to the right). Take a paper clip and form a"u". Insert it in the last two slots on the top right hand side of the ALDL. Turn the ignition switch to the "on" position, and watch the check engine light. It will "flash" codes in this mode. It should start with a code 12 (one flash, pause, then two flashes). This will happen a total of 3 times. There will then be a pause, and the light should "flash" whatever trouble codes are in the computer. When it has completed, it should flash code "12" again (3 times). Get a service manual and decode the flashes. I hope this helps. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
