ok till christmas when the 305 goe's in my s-15....another story, how can i know all the emission crap is hooked up the right way, seems my problem started when i changed the intake gasket, and broke a few hoses, loss the original places they went,my chilton is pretty upsetting for me to understand. while i replaced the o2 sensor the intake sensor the coolant sensor and all hoses including a new pvc it seems there is a solenoid that goes to the egr and mine has three spots for hoses?it clicks (works)and i only have two hoses one from carb other to egr and not sure of correct layout for them,as i said earlier in a post,86 305 carb quadrajet stock car from what i see, except when i replaced the vacuum switch on the manifold it didnt match the spec's so maybe i have a different manifold, but still stock (hole's) type.

Thanks for the edit. I'm not real familiar with 86's but you might find better routing diagrams under the hood. I think they are required by law from the factory to aid mechanics doing tuneups and such.
