I have an 1991 Camaro with a 305 a Command Start CSI remote car starter and 110K miles on it. I use it as my daily driver. It has a brand new battery in it and I have never had any problems with it. UNTIL I left the lights on over night totally draing the battery after boosting the car it developed a drain. After going through the car with a multimeter I cannot find the drain. I also had the battery tested and it is fine. Is the remote car starter draing the battery? Is there a reset on it or something? I couldn't find anything in the owner's manual. Someone please help. Thanks in advance.

Something could of happened to the alternator when boosting.

The best way to hunt for a short though is to remove either battery cable. Hook a test light between the cable and batt post. You can hook it up either way just so it is all that connects the cable to the batt. Any light bulb will make the test light come on so you will need to remove dome light, and hood light. Unplug the 2 wire flat pulg on the alt first, and if the light stays on take the big red wire off alt. If that don't do it start pulling fuses one at a time. Keep unhooking stuff until the test light goes off and when it goes off that is the place that is causing the drain.
