Kinda new to this stuff, any help greatful.
I have a 1980 trans am, but i put a chevy 355 in place of the 301. I'm running a edelbrock 3701 intake, 9635 carter 625 electric choke carb, stock heads, headers, 3 inch flowmaster exhaust and a stock RV cam ( .420 lift intake &.443 lift exhaust, duration is 204 degrees at .050 lift intake & 214 degrees at.050 lift exhaust). Auto trans and stock converter. I never got a diagram on how to install the vacuum lines on the carter carb. It would have been easy if I was just replacing the carb, but I scraped all the pontiac stuff for chevy. could any one help me with the proper method of connecting the vacuum lines?(egr, pcv, brake, dist, etc) The motor runs like it has a vacuum leak. Also, is a 3 inch exhaust too much for my application?
Thanks to all. Looks like an awesome site for chevy owners!
