I can not seem to find the right headers for my 1968. It is a 327 two barrel and has air conditioning and power steering. I have tried a few sets - Flowtech 11108 shorties (would not fit because of the air) and Hedman 65003 but they will not fit because of the power steering unit.
Any suggestions ? Thanks

I have Hedmann headers on my 69 camaro with a small block and power steering. I believe the trick is you must place a jack under the pan and unbolt the driver side mount to lift the engine up enough to give the clearance necessary to fit the header in place. Its a very tight fit, and once the engine sits down in its mount, you are only talking maybe a 1/8" clearance around that PS box.

I went with Sanderson Shorty Headers with 1 1/2" primaries. I am probably giving up a little in performance, but I did not want fitment problems with the A/C suitcase. These headers are excellent quality headers and have not leaked. (they use no gaskets) I have a GMPP 350/330HP crate motor. They do have a website. Good luck.
