i just bought a 68 base car a few weeks ago. it has aftermarket rims but the seller also gave me the rims that were on the car when he bought it. he said he thinks they are original to the car. how can i tell and what would the value of the rims be?
thanks in advance.

For starters, they are only worth what some body is willing to pay for them. Plain Janers, to the right person, $20./30.. Look at the valve stem area. There should be 2 letters on one side, that will tell you what they are and what they came on, ie: 'FC'-is a 14x6 Camaro plain jane wheel. The other numbers is the date code.
