This car originally had a 305 in it but I have changed it to a 350 It is automatic and
I have changed radiator,waterpump,thermostat,
alternator,installed dual electric fans and it overheats all the time,the transmission does slip at this time( until I can replace it)Does this have anything to do with it?
At first it was only overheating on the interstate and staying cool cruzin' around town, but now it overheats all the time.

do you have a fanshroud ? if not there's your problem,but the 305 rad. may be too small.

Is you radiator in good condition? Also, do you have the correct amount/mix of antifreeze and water? I know that these are basics, but you would be surprised at how many times I find these are the culprits.

I forgot to tell you that this is a 91 Camaro
and it still has it's original computer system and TBI. Anti-Freeze/mixed correct and
radiator less than 6months old and I have tried another radiator.
By the way thanks for the input.

Any chance the AC condensor is stopped up with bugs, trash, etc.? Not unusual. Try spraying the radiators out from rear to front with a really good pressure garden hose. Messy, but it really helps sometimes.

A slipping transmission generates nothing but heat, fix the tranni.
