i just bought an 88 Iroc, clutch and tranny felt fine, until the other day the clutch wasnt fully engaging and i had to get all the way down on it, i also noticed it felt lighter and easier to push on. There is a small fluid leak, im not sure what it is, im thinkin somethin from the master cyl because its a hydrolic clutch??? maybe oil?,dont want to drive it now to prevent transmision damage, i need some help before i go spending money

First thing to check is the clutch reservoir to make sure the fluid level is full. It's mounted on the driver side firewall next to the brake booster. Follow the hose to the slave cylinder mounted to the bellhousing, and check for leaks, maybe it's just the hose leaking.
