Hi, and thanks in advance for any help. Yes I have a stock 1969 327, automatic with a colomn shift turbo 350. It will not start in park anymore. I have to play with the shift lever to find a place it will start. It will start in low gear only. What should I check. Something in the colomn, trans or saftey neutral switch, not lining up ?? Did you do any work on the car recently?

Sounds like the neutral safety switch on top of the column is installed backwards, or the linkage that operates it is messed up since Low is at the opposite end of the shifter from park.

Thanks Mark. It has worked fine until the other day. I will check that, and hopefully that will be all it is. Jim
