I have an 86 IROC-Z regular 305 2 barrel, and it is perfect ecept for one thing. Every time the car hits about 4,000 RPM it stalls out. I was thinking that it might be the coil, but I don't know for sure and I am pressed for time right now.
Thanks

I'd look for soemthing in the fuel system first...sounds like starvation to me. Check fuel pressure, filter, float level...see if you find anything.

Hey did you think to check the air intake. I had a problem like that with my 67 327 and it was because the air intake was screwed up.

Do you have catalytic converter(s) on the car. If you do, and that 4000 rpm stall turns into a 3000 rpm stall and so on, it is possible you have a stopped up catalytic converter. Happened to me once.
