Help.
My '91 Camaro makes a ticking sound when I turn. It sounds like it's coming from the front brakes. I hear it in my parking garage. It doesn't do it going straight.
Is it serious? Brakes? Suspension?
Don't want to get ripped off taking it in somewhere without a clue.

I had a similar problem with a Buick Regal a few years ago and no one could locate the problem. I could swerve back and forth at low speeds and hear a ticking sound when turning to the left only. It turned out to be a flat spot on one of the front wheel bearings. I was told this may have happened from a long trailer ride the car took which bounced the car around while it's wheels were not turning.

My 91 Lumina Eurosport does the exact same thing and it only does it when I turn left.
The bearing is something that I haven't looked at. I have taken the breaks all apart and found nothing wrong with them. Does anyone else have a suggestion cause like chaos2order I'm also at a loss.

its the calipers sliding on the metal holders that the bolts run in , sometimes they click when the caliper is opening or closing, this occours because of lack of proper lubrication, with either a synthetic black grease or silicon grease to make sure they run smooth,
if its not the brake system. you could have a bad tie tod end, Front Strut , or Idler Arm

Checking the pads should be easy, lay your foot on the brakes a bit while making the turns. Does the sound change??
