hey i have a 68 camaro, which i have new front engine harness and light harness, along with motor etc,etc, i have to break in the cam and the purple wire that goes to starter solanoid does not get power when key is in start position, traced it all the way back to ignition switch which then led me to a small 2 terminal plug which is purple with white stripe coming in from ignition switch with a solid purple going out to eventually the solanoid, now where is the other end to this plug, or what goes in it??????? i made a jumper wire and thats when i finally get power out to solanoid wire when key is in start position, please help, didn't find any plug under dash that looked like it was then one, any help would be great, i can jump it for the cam break in but i would like to do it right, i really didn't see anything in the assembly manual, thanks alot

This wire probably goes to a neutral safety switch, either at the bottom of the column or on the console shifter.
