I am new to this site and was hoping that someone could give me some useful advice
about adjusting the convertible top on my 69 "bowtie" Camaro.

I notice that the top fits snugly onto the windshield frame in the front but there is 1-1/2 inch gap between it and the rear side windows.

Is there an adjustment for this? What should I look for as a culprit for this excess gap near the back side windows?

I've done this once, 20 years ago, and need to do it again with my current '68 ragtop. Get the Fisher Body Manual from any of the resto shops. There's about 100 pages on installing and adjusting the top. Way complicated stuff, but do-able. Yes, there are a lot of adjustments.
