I have a 1983 Camaro that refuses to start. The details are: it turns over, but refuses to start and I cannot figure out why. I have replaced the neutral safety switch, the starter, the ignition switch and key switch, replaced all fuses/links, and the car has a good battery. Seems like the fuel filter is stopped up but the carb is getting the gas. PLEASE HELP!!! I'm out of solutions. It about has to be something simple that I am overlooking.
Thanks.

Could be your timing, and ignition.

Or, Check plug wires, if your getting gas to the carb, then you might not be getting spark, also, if thats the case, again, your timing along with your Distribtor. Maby a short in the distributor. Or between the starter motor, and Batery.

Other then that dont really know. Also check your ignition Fuse.

Did you check your ground wire (negative battery cable)is it loose sounds stupid but it is a major player. I also don't mean loose at the battery which I would still check but where it connects to the alternator bracket or engine. Also how the ground wires that go to the intake manifold were they disturbed lately?

i would check to see if yur getting spark first off if yur getting gas in carbs....stick a screwdriver in any plug and position it near metal ground and crank motor u will clear hear and see spark if yur getting spark~
