I need to know now were I can get a pivot pin remover. They dont have it at part stores and at the dealer ship. Thanks again for the help. jhow66 Dec 5th, 01, 05:01 PM Get yourself a 10-32 screw about 1" long. Thread it into the pin. Take a pair of pliers and a screw driver and remove pin. Hope this helps. KEVY G Dec 5th, 01, 05:17 PM Ive never taken one this far apart before.Does it screw out or just pull out. trickster Dec 5th, 01, 06:48 PM Greeting Kevyg, the pivot pins pull out, the 10-32 screw gives you something to pull the pins out without damaging them. I hope that abundance of reading material gave you an insight into locating and correcting your problem. Good luck! The Trickster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PDQUICK Dec 6th, 01, 06:17 AM If you can't get the pins out with the 10-32 screw method, Snap-On makes an awesome pin removal tool. The bad part is that they get about $35 for a tool that is worth about $5!! Just get some extra screws and try not to break them off in the pivot pins!! KEVY G Dec 6th, 01, 03:47 PM Thanks again for all ya'lls help. And thankyou trickster for all info. |
